Customer id

The customer id is a number that identifies your account. It is used to make payments and to enable the program to connect.

To find your customer id, right-click on the Mullvad icon and select Settings.

A trial account with a short time limit is created the first time the program connects. To make it a full account a payment must be made specifying its number.

Uninstallation and reinstallation

The customer id disappears from the computer when the Mullvad program is removed or the computer operating system is reinstalled. Make sure to save the customer id first.

Lost customer ids

In most cases a lost customer id can be found again through the payments.

If you have paid using Paypal a welcoming email containing the customer id has been sent. The sender is admin@mullvad.net .

If that doesn't help you can send us a mail with as much information as possible about the payments made. For Paypal that means the email address of the sender and the transaction id. For Bankgiro it means the sender and the date. For Bitcoin it means the recipient address.
